課程概述 |
臺灣是海島國家，海岸地帶過往依海的生計方式，發展出獨特的漁業文化。但相較於農村研究，人類學界以漁業及海洋社群為研究主題的著作較少，自經典民族誌《龜山島》（王崧興1967）之後，就很少見到漁業與漁村研究的人類學作品。本課程藉由文本閱讀與田野踏查，引介同學認識重要的海洋/漁業人類學研究，以及有別於陸地世界分析的理論工具，期能更深入了解漁業勞動、漁業技術、漁村社會、人-海關係等面向的傳統與變遷。 |

課程目標 |
1.以文化人類學的方法與理論來探索海洋與漁業議題。
2.了解依海人群的獨特生活方式。
3.反思當代面臨的海洋環境問題，以及人類學能夠做什麼。 |
|
課程要求 |
1.事前閱讀指定文本並積極參與課堂討論。
2.自費參與課程規劃的兩次田調（費用預估$3000左右）。無法參與田調行程的同學，請勿選修本課。
3.學期結束時，依照課程文本啟發的思考框架，以及田野實察所得的觀察資料，撰寫一份10頁左右的未來研究構想書。 |
